In this class, we’ll practice with the legs up the wall, using the support of the floor and wall to calm the nervous system and gently open the hips. When the body is fully supported, the hips have a chance to soften, release tension, and expand naturally. With slow, intentional breathing, you’ll begin to let go of the stress that accumulates in the body and mind throughout the week. Allow yourself to settle into the quietness of this practice and feel the deep, whole-body relaxation that follows.
